The Budget and Finance Committee shall oversee all financial affairs of the congregation
to make sure they are being conducted efficiently. It shall prepare a draft budget for the
succeeding year including the congregation’s full share of support of the wider ministry
being carried on by synodical and church wide agencies of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America and shall submit the draft budget to the congregational council
for its action and later presentation at a congregational meeting.
In addition, with the direction of the congregational council, it shall exercise responsibility
for the congregation’s investments, insurance program, and banking operation.
